Our room was new-fashioned and stylish, available with wonderful views and fire place, for example. Fresh bread, cakes, and pastries was a bonus. Everyone was really helpful as well as host. The setting was stunning, close enough to centuries old family owned vineyard, a restaurant in salamanca, and Douro Valley.

We were initially hesitant about the steep and narrow access road to the property, but we quickly realized that the stunning accommodations at Casa Do Romezal were worth the nail-biting moments. The renovation of this heritage property is truly remarkable, combining modern facilities with the charm of an old stone structure. The terrace offers breathtaking views that left us in awe. We wished we could have stayed longer to fully immerse ourselves in this exceptional experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem in the Douro region.
